Melanoma

Melanoma, also known as basal cell skin cancer, can appear as an itchy raised reddish patch, itchy dark spots on the skin, or moles. Skin biopsy is indispensable especially when there is a deterioration in the clinical condition. Any itchy, scabbed, or bleeding sore that’s not healing should be looked at by a doctor. Melanoma treatment often starts with surgery to remove the cancer. Other treatments may include radiation therapy and treatment with medicine. Treatment for melanoma depends on several factors. These factors include the stage of your cancer, your overall health and your own preferences.
